I compete in math, co-lead my school's math club of nearly 250 members, and build software that people use every day. My two biggest projects are JARVIS, a voice assistant that runs my school week, and the AMC practice platform I built for our club.

Projects

Things I've Built

Both main projects started with a problem I had myself. Other people now rely on them too.

JARVIS

Personal project · since Aug 2026
Python · JavaScript · Swift

Demo film, 1:45. Each frame was rendered by a script driving the real interface, and JARVIS's own voice narrates it.

JARVIS is a voice assistant that runs on my laptop and knows my school week. It reads my calendar, to-do list, class files and college applications. I can talk to it, type to it, paste in a screenshot or send it a voice memo from my phone.

I started it because my week lived in too many places: assignments in one app, deadlines in another, essay drafts in a folder, and reminders in my head. Now one assistant can answer "what's due" and "what should I do first" with real information.

It uses Claude for reasoning. I designed and built everything around the model myself: the tools it can use, the interface, the local speech system, the wake-word listener and the scheduled jobs.

What It Does

Wakes on a Double Clap

A background listener on the Mac hears two claps or "hey JARVIS" and opens the console.

Plans the Week

Shows the calendar colour-coded by class, ranks what's due, and edits events when I ask.

Reads What I Show It

Paste in a screenshot of a physics problem and it gives the first step instead of the answer.

Takes Notes from My Phone

A voice memo recorded on the bus syncs over, gets transcribed, and becomes a task.

Learns How Long Work Takes

Predicts how long each assignment will take, then corrects itself per class using the times I log.

Focus Sessions

"Lock in for fifty minutes" starts a study playlist, stays quiet, then asks whether I finished.

Morning Podcast

Searches the news at 7:00 and turns it into a short conversation between two voices.

College Tracker

Lists every school with its deadline and the essays and forms it still needs.

Portola Math Club Learning Platform

Built as Co-President
amc-math-club.pages.dev ↗

Demo film, 1:14. Recorded frame by frame from the live site: lessons, past AMC practice, the hint guide and full test mode.

Our club has nearly 250 members preparing for the AMC 10 and 12, and they had no single place to practice. I built a free website where any member can learn a topic, drill real past problems, and sit a full timed contest.

Learn has lessons on the five AMC subjects. Each lesson follows the same order: how AMC problems disguise the idea, the core solving moves, a worked example, and extra formulas.

Practice Tests loads any AMC 10 or 12 from 2000 to 2025 with a 75-minute timer, then scores it and reviews each answer. A guided-solution panel walks through a problem one hint at a time, and it runs entirely in the browser with no AI model.

Stride Select

A college track and field finder for high school athletes. You enter your grade, GPA and event marks, and it returns matching programs in every division, ranked by team strength.

  • Built a dataset of all 1,875 NCAA track programs from the official NCAA directory, plus 724 more across NAIA, junior colleges and four smaller associations
  • Ranks programs using 2026 national championship results
  • Only shows event standards a school has actually published, so it never invents a cutoff

Open Scholar Lab

A local AI server I run so more students can use frontier AI models. openscholarlab.com ↗

  • Built and operate a multi-thousand-dollar local LLM server
  • Used by college and high school students across the U.S.
  • Goal: widen public access to frontier AI and narrow the AI literacy gap

Hyperspectral Fire Detection at UC Irvine

Assistant researcher on Professor Healey's project, which aims to detect fire automatically from advanced camera sensors.

  • Wrote Python tools that line up two hyperspectral cameras (visible and short-wave infrared) by cross-correlating the bands they share near 975 nm
  • Extract pixel spectra and compare them with MODTRAN atmospheric simulations
